Description
The Process Simulation and Modelling (PSM) Tool is a stand-alone tool that was developed in .NET Framework utilising Visual Basic and C#. It is part of a suite, which has been developed to address the requirements of process modelling and simulation of the production chain of the process industries of the AquaSPICE project. The tool is able to perform simulations of the system under what-if scenarios. The innovation lies in the simulation of the whole production chain of the process industries, from raw materials to valuable products and by-products, and at different levels, from a specific process to cross-sectorial networks. Overall, the PSM Tool allows the creation of a digital representation of the physical system.
